Amazon has just notified me that my review of his product is not accepted and sent me a copy of the guidelines (which I studied briefly; I could not find anything about the review which violated them). I'll try again.The SodaStream is the most overpriced and under performing product I've ever purchased, and I'm nearly 70 years old. I live in a city of over a million, and no one locally refills the 130L carbinators. Ordering either the 60L or 130L from SodaStream is extremely expensive, and the empty carbinators are grossly overpriced. They charge $10 a bottle for their one liter storage bottles. The machine itself is poorly constructed from plastic. Costco only sells the kit with the 130L carbinator. I could go on and on, but I think the message is clear. This product uses a marketing process which tends to mislead the consumer into buying something which is much more expensive to use than initially promised. The markup on accessories can be more than 1000 times more expensive than the traditional market alternatives, and their proprietary accessories are booby-trapped so you are forced to buy their products. Don't buy. There are better alternatives if you want to save on the price of retail sodas. I am taking the time to write this review and post it to all versions of the SodaStream that Amazon sells because a company like this doesn't deserve to stay in business by preying on those of us who are concerned about our impact on the environment.Read the excellent review of the 130L carbinator for more detailed info on the product (I forget the reviewer's name, but it is the first one star review listed on 2/6/13).
