Bought this one because of the carbonation level option. Gives you the choice of 4 levels of carbonation it said. Well low is barley detectable and The Turbo is less that you would find in a soda from a gas station. If I had it to do over again I would save the extra $120 this one cost over the basic model. I think the basic model cost about $80 and I wouldn't even pay that for this now that I have used it for a week.

I purchased this SodaStream machine a little less than 30-days ago for about $200. The first problem I came across was that the sample packs of soda mix that the unit comes with had the labels mixed up on the individual flavor mix packs. I selected the orange soda mix and got something that was gross. I selected the root beer and got orange. I spoke with SodaStream, and the customer support person acted like it was no big deal. She took my name, email address and phone number but I haven't heard anything more.Today, while making a bottle of soda, one of the carbonation buttons stuck in the on position. I was concerned that the bottle would get too much carbonation and explode. I unplugged the unit, it it still continued to carbonate. I took the carbinator bottle out and it finally stopped, but not before the whole carbonator was empty. I'll talk with the Soda Stream customer support staff tomorrow, but based on my first interaction I don't expect much.FOLLOWUP -- The SodaStream customer service team offered to send a new fully-charged carbonator to replace the one that depleted during the problem I had. Even so, I exchanged the empty one for a charged one at Staples. Before I used the machine again, I called SodaStream so that they could step me through some troubleshooting. They would have exchanged the machine for me if the problem hadn't been resolved in the troubleshooting steps. Happy to say, it's working fine now.
